What User doesn't like about Lark A Fare:
This was our new favorite restaurant until this evening. We spent almost $200 for a group of 6. Steak was not cooked medium rare, but was medium well...more well done. They were out of rolls. The fried mushrooms were burnt. The fried chicken arrives as half a bird encased in crust and was difficult to eat. 3 of the six guests at our table mentioned too much salt on their food. The server was extremely friendly, provided complimentary champagne for my birthday, and the food was delicious!
The whole experience was great. Our waiter did a good job and was very helpful when it came to my dietary restrictions. The menu actually denotes GF, vegan and vegetarian options. I literally can’t remember the last time I have be able to eat fried catfish (I’m gluten free) and it was soooo amazingly good! We ordered two different bottles of wine for our group and they were both very good. I look forward to returning!
We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! We enjoyed a lovely few hours with friends and received excellent service from our server, Mataya. She had a positive attitude, kept us well-informed, checked on us regularly, didn't rush us, and was very pleasant throughout our meal.
Server was very friendly, gave free champagne for my birthday and food was delicious!
Everything was wonderful! We spent a few hours with friends, were well looked after, and our server, Mataya, was excellent. She has a great attitude, explains things well, has often checked us, not rushed and was very pleasant!
