"Very accommodating restaurant. We showed up last Saturday from Winterlude as a party of four. It was hectic and we had no reservations. They had us after only 20 minutes. We went down to the bar while we waited Andre, the bartender was great. Then our server John was the best. Friendly, accommodating and personal. The food was also very good (I would recommend HIGHLY the oysters). I definitely go back to Coasters in the future."

"Excellent diner breakfast. We love this place on Saturday morning for the diner breakfast. It is nice to get a choice of three things (beans, potatoes, meat) so people who don't eat meat can make substitutions.<br/ <br/ The service is always good and friendly and we like it here!"

"Had take out from this new offering in Barrhaven and I must say that we were thrilled with the food. Chicken Souvlaki platter was tasty and generous with the portions. The only things I would like to see changed are the portions of tzatziki sauce which were definitely too small for the amount of chicken and having both rice and potatoes seemed a little too much....would rather see one or the other. Not having the dressing on the salad was a plus, it stayed fresh and putting it on yourself allowed for portion control. Welcome to Barrhaven, Yorgos, can't wait to try it again."

"After watching a movie we wandered around looking for somewhere to eat in the Glebe part of Ottawa, a friendly and slightly scruffy bohemian part of town, rather like Hampstead was in London before the prices rocketed. Von's had a table and we very much enjoyed our meal. There was just one waiter on duty for a pretty full establishment but he zipped around with remarkable speed and friendliness. My wife and I both had the catch of the day, a mix of shrimp and fish and mussels, and it was excellent. The rather watery lemon mousse for dessert didn't impress but overall we had a great meal and we will be back."
