"Place in MOA is a little run down not very fancy but the food speaks for itself.Wait staff was awesome and one thing that is really a standout, was her overall knowledge of the menu. Service was fast and attentive. "The service was 5 star. A co worker wanted to try the new buffalo bites but couldn't make her mind up if she wanted 3, 5, or 7. The lady on the speaker was very patient. "We just accidentally found this place. We were driving to Corpus Christi from Houston. My husband ordered a Hinze burger , it was Super Pathetic. It said Bar B Q sauce on it , it had absorbed into the bun , meat was overcooked , onions were not cooked , the only thing that saved it , I gave him some of my meatloaf to put on it. I had the lunch special , meatloaf with fried okra tasted like it was made in grandmother's kitchen right after being picked and washed) and blackeyed peas , had ham bits. A piece of homemade bread with REAL BUTTER!! IT was all delicious. My meatloaf was perfect it had just the right amount of onion and bell pepper. It was a thick, huge slice that could have been split and just added extra sides. It held together , even when sliced and had a very good sauce on top , bar b q , I think. We took a piece of pecan brittle to go . It was PERFECT , very buttery , and perfect crunch , not too soft and not breaking teeth. . Service was self-serve , they brought food out , but you got drinks and refills. Will stop again, if in area."
