"We had a great time at Julep's. I can't remember our waiter's name, but he used to be a chef and he was excellent and very nice. Highly recommend the Brunswick Stew and scallops for appetizers and the crab cake for dinner. We ordered Bananas Foster for dessert and the waiter made it for us right at our table very nice touch. We will definitely go back!"

"Came from out of town, wanted a pretty lunch spot, seated right away, requested patio, bench and chair seating available with movable tables. Service was slow. Ordered an app of deviled eggs and beet salad with filet. Salad and filet were as expected. As in meat was cooked perfect medium rear!! Server never put in the app and when I asked about it he made a horribly offensive fatphobic comment regarding portion sizes. What had been a beautiful lunch left me feeling so much shame. Please don't judge other people's orders no matter what size their bodies are. As a server you have no idea a person's lifestyle. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a nicer spot to eat just stay away from that server. No tip was given.
