"Ambiance was satisfying. Restaurant appeared very clean and loved that there was a lot of space between tables. Server Lynn and busser were amazing! Food was on point! Started with fresh bluepoint oysters. Enjoyed their tomahawk special for Temp was a perfect med rare plus and was showcased and professionally sliced tableside along with sauce and sides. The special also included dessert- we chose the Brown butter cake at server's recommendation and it did not disappoint! I recommend pairing your dessert with the French press coffee. Another plus was the beautiful extra large rock glasses used to serve our Woodford Reserve Double Barrel, on a large single ice cube. I highly recommend this restaurant! We will definitely be back to try other menu items in the future."

"We had reservations for a double birthday meal. David an excellent waiter and was very attentive but not intrusive. He made recommendations on locally sourced seafood when asked. The meal was excellent! I had the snapper and my wife had the red fish. My daughter had the chef's choice and son-in-law had gumbo and the shrimp. We had a great time. Great food, service and ambiance. We highly recommend Salt Water to our friends."

"Awful, we left before getting our entree. We felt discriminated against and the manager did a pathetic job in trying to explain why there appeared to be segregated seating. All the black patrons were being seated in the lower level. After the fourth couple came in , we decided to speak with manager and leave. We were not the only ones who felt that way either."
