"Four of us went to Grille Torres to share squid and shrimp cocktails as an appetizer. Simple and delicious. The fish a la vera cruzana was tasty with a light bite. The take on Key lime pie was great. The decor is lovely. The chef (totally bilingual) and staff very pleasant. A 500 peso bill fell to the floor without our friend noticing. It was promptly brought back to him. A great experience and value for the money!"

"Don Lupe was across the street from our hotel and what a gem! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, it's as if we had known them for years. The food is fresh and delicious with generous portions, and so reasonable. Walking towards our hotel at the end of the day, it was hard NOT to stop in and listen to some music and have a drink before bedtime. Sorry they will have to move soon, but they will never lose their fans and they will always have followers and new friends who will show up at their new location. Best of luck to all at Don Lupe!!"

"Our wings were way over cooked, our entres came out a few seconds after our wings(appitizer) The shrimp were gross and veggies over cooked, the steak was over cooked, like a hockey puck."

"We were super excited to find this place. The restrooms were fairly clean, as was the dining area. Service was friendly and proficient.The menu was short and had few options. We tried all of the Margarita flavors, ceviches, octopus, snacking platter and nothing was what we had expected. The top award goes to the snacking platter because they had chili coated grasshoppers which we'd never tried before. The remaining dishes lacked spice and depth.The octopus tasted like mint. The margaritas all tasted smoky. The ceviche was saved by excellent mango. I'd be lying if I said I wanted to try this one again. I'm a bit disappointed. The reviews really placed this one on a pedestal that it couldn't live up to."
