"You don’t go here for the food, same boring menu. You go for the atmosphere and drinks. We’ve dined here 2 times a month on average since it opened. Wife has food allergies and can eat a couple things on the menu. Last nights experience was typical. My Hot chicken was so tough you had to tear it apart with your fingers. Daughters shrimp and grits with sausage had 1 piece of sausage in the entire bowl. Wife’s steak was ordered med well slightly pink and was so chewy and stringy muscle fibers you couldn’t chew it. She hates it when I complain but I did mention to the server as she pre-bussed the table the kitchen may want to temp their steaks a bit and before serving. She offered another one and I declined. No biggie we are used to it here. The manager promptly came out and said he noticed the steak on the stack of plates the server was taking back to the kitchen and was appalled they would serve that. Immediately removed it from the bill. They sides are always excellent. Music is fantastic."
