"Our first meal in this restaurant. The food was good for what was offered in the area. Southern breakfast dishes were as expected and served time was fast, The restaurant was clean and service at the point. I think the restaurant could make something too sharp, too gray blah. I am a real believer that the ambience has implications for food and reviews. We give this restaurant another try, maybe next time lunch."

"Guess I'll keep the trend going 5 stars for sure, it is a reason they are rated 5 out 5. I had the whitening and shrimp with baked beans fries. I also had the fried mac and cheese banging, my only request is i need more hushpuppies 3 isn't enough I cant tell which is better the mac cheese bite which are about the size of tennis ball and you get 6 of them, the hushpuppies are small but full of flavor. I dont give out 5 stars you have to wow me, they did that when the fries are seasoned and the beans are sweet, I tell everyone you have to seasoned the side as well. But this is one of the best seafood restaurants I've had. Also make sure you get there cocktail sauce I dont know what they put in there but it isn't traditional"

"The place looks clean and the outer hostess was polite cherry that made me happy. I received my order in a timely way that I ordered for 3 people, and I had the pfirsich muffin and tee I enjoyed the tee very much and I am glad that I was the muffin it was quite a little dry. they will probably enjoy the pfirsich muffin that I wish it has a clearer peach flavor to stand off from the cinnamon crumb tip. the fried bologna biscuit was exactly what I expected"

"A brewpub is de rigueur for cities of a certain size, and Liberty Brewery Grill serves that need for High Point. While it doesn’t compare favorably to Natty Greene’s or Foothills, it is a solid if inconsistent option in its own right. Decked out in patriotic décor (think liberty and eagle statues), Liberty offers plenty of room inside and out. My wife and I showed up shortly before six on a Sunday evening to find plenty of cars in the lot yet no wait time for a table. The ambiance was lively without being uncomfortably loud. Liberty’s menu offers no surprises but plenty of familiar favorites. It balances bar food (wings, nachos, burgers) with Southern-inspired entrees (chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits), tacos, pizza, and a few steaks. Vegetarians can rightly gripe about a lack of non-meat options, but for everyone else, there is plenty to choose from. Liberty’s house-brewed beer options aren’t as varied: think a half-dozen regular brews plus seasonal offerings. For our first visit, my wife and I opted for fish and chips and shrimp and grits, respectively along with the rocket’s red ale and a seasonal mango beer. Results ran the gamut from delectable to forgettable to inexplicable. The shrimp and grits featured plenty of shrimp that were grilled well, but the tomato-based sauce was confusingly sweet. Every place puts its own spin on this dish though a certain degree of smokiness is a constant that was lacking here. Although unexpected, the flavor was not unpleasant. Meanwhile, the fish was thickly battered, crisp on the outside, and tender on the inside: a winning combination. Among its accompaniments, the house-made chips were very crispy and could have used more salt while the slaw rated a definite flavorless meh. Both beers were satisfying. The red ale was nicely balanced while the mango beer was sweet and refreshing. Liberty’s pricing is moderate. Our entrees ran in the mid-teens, as anticipated. A $3 beer special during our visit, on the other hand, proved to be a steal. While our server for the evening seemed new and a bit overwhelmed, she did her job well. Food came out quickly given the restaurant’s busyness, and an initial overcharge was just as quickly remedied. All told, Liberty has enough to offer to make future visits likely, but it is very much a “depends on what you order” establishment."

"First let me start off by saying the food here is amazing! Customer service is severely lacking. I placed an order yesterday for 16 bagels to take to my staff at work. I asked that they be sliced since I work in a school and we don't have knives. They mentioned they would be able to do it if they were not too busy. When I went to pick up my order they were four staff members and one other customer in the store. I again inquired about having the bagels sliced and I was told they were too busy. I requested this almost 24 hours in advance and I feel like they could have cut them in the morning before customers even came in or even this morning when they had one customer and four staff. I am highly disappointed in the service that I received today. It's disappointing when they have good food but terrible service so it is highly likely I will not be back. I'm not even sure they really care either."

"Ate here twice in a week and had a great experience both times. Food was excellent and the service was terrific. The meatloaf was off the charts good. Friendly and service oriented staff. The restaurant is in a large open room with tall ceilings so although the place was packed the noise wasn't distracting. Prices were commensurate for the area."
