"I’ve visited the original Cholita Linda location in Temescal a few times now over the years and really enjoyed their food. This restaurant is another location of theirs in Alameda which was more convenient on my trip so I stopped by. Food wise everything tasted delicious just as I remember. I’ve tried all the tacos over the years but the Baja Fish is my favorite and now just order multiple of them when I visit. The fish is super fresh and pairs nicely with their housemade crema and salsa. Make sure to top it off with a bit of the orange hot sauce. On this visit, the Alameda location service was a bit slow despite there not being too many customers. I’ll probably stick to the Temescal location, but definitely be back for their tacos! "They have a variety Gluten Free options which is awesome. Curry bowl with tofu add zucchini add beans add side of corn tortillas with their spicy green salsa. Never disappointed and always excellent customer service."

"The chicken Mole was perfectly seasonal! The other dish was excellent taco enchilada, Chili relleno. It is a beautiful place to eat, you can also sit outside where the ocean front is. Many parking and alcohol drinks serve there"

"It was the okayest Mexican food I've ever had. Flavor wasn't there. Service was good. Staff was friendly. Restaurants a bit on the dirty side, but not terrible. The biggest gripe was just the lack of flavor in the food. Still not the worst Mexican food I've ever had. It was just the okayest."

"This is the worst food ever used to be good the message changed cook so I don't know but the guacamole is watery I couldn't believe my food was cold I ordered the some tacos and it was cold I heard they have rats there in this place is the worst used to be good I can't believe how how down the food is gotten I'll never go there again don't go there is my advice"

"We took our group of 8 here after graduation from Berkeley because out of town guests wanted good mexican food. We had margaritas all around and a variety of different items from the menu. Everyone was very happy with the food, drinks and service. The cost for the meal was super reasonable... A Hidden Alameda Treasure"
