"I'm impressed. This is the most authentic eatery in Escondido. Full vegitarian menu, separate from the other foods. All veg options can be made vegan. They even have raw tacos. Now who doesn't love to get them some of that RAW TACO."

"We had chicken lisas offer some amazing Mexican food for the birthday of my wife in the welk resort! everything we ordered was delicious. we enjoyed chile rellanos, enchiladas rolled tacos all fresh made with salsas guacamole and rice beans. the personal is very friendly and the restaurant has warm dining-friendly decor. they have made an excellent job and I recommend this Mexican restaurant."

"My husband and I decided to try this place after reading the reviews, and a recommendation from a friend. It's a small restaurant with some outdoor seating and a few booths and tables. There are no waiters or waitresses to take your order. When we walked in and approached the front counter we were given menus and instructed to come back to the counter when we were ready to order. They brought us chips and two kinds of salsa. They were both good, but the chips were a bit on the thick side. I ordered the two item combination plate of the pork chili Relleno and the fish taco with Mexican rice and pinto beans. This is the first time for both of us trying this kind of chili Relleno. It is baked instead of fried. It was pretty good, but I guess we just prefer the traditional fried and stuffed with jack cheese type. I didn't care for the rice. It was just too heavy with the spice's for me, not in a hot spice way but just too overpowering. The beans were okay, but again we prefer the traditional refried beans. I don't think we will be back. Service was good!"
