"Went here on a recommendation from the hotel staff. It's quite dated, looks like an old school diner. It was once on the show " you gotta eat here". Service was a little slow and the booths are quite tight for a family of 4. Mussels, seafood chowder and burgers were excellent! Fish tacos were good but seemed to be missing something for me. All in all a pretty good experience."

"Burger week - had the burger that was suggested for six dollars. It came with guacamole, tomato, jalapeño peppers, lettuce, the burger, and bun for six dollars. The burger was a real homemade burger. The waiter was very attentive and accommodated our different add up Tatian's adaptations to the burger. It is definitely a pub style restaurant. Centrally located on Spring garden Road on the north side of the street. We have also eaten breakfast here and enjoyed it. Food is always good"

"We have been several times before and post pandemic. cheachie is never impressing, it is the best Mexican food in halifax! we had several dishes, fish tacos, chicken enchiladas, chicken tacs and all are delicious with guaac, acidic cream and. mäuse biss zum salsa muy bien! they also make a great margarita salud!"

"We have eaten here several times, and we always love the food. The only downfall for me is that my eyes burn when I am in the restaurant...I am not sure if this is due to ventilation issues or spices coming from the kitchen! The food is delicious, and the staff are very welcoming and friendly! ! During our last visit, we had the nachos, they were superb! Our main dishes were yummy as well. We love this restaurant! Thank you to the staff and the chef!"

"Great service and amazing food. We ordered the trio which came with housemade nachos, salsa, rojas hot sauce and guacamole. Then we ordered enchiladas which came with beans and Mexican rice. All of those were amazing. Then we got combo number 10 which came with enchilada and chimichanga which also came with beans and Mexican rice. Service was amazing and the food came out in seconds. The shop has Mexican sauces, cookies and chillies in the shop. Overall great experience. Price range was very economical. Total bill after 3 people were full was 60~ bucks. Totally worth it. Street parking only. Would definitely recommend for authentic Mexican food!!"
