"The Zarandeado is good when it comes to their seafood. The food is tasty, waiters are nice and always helpful. We tried the zarandeado fish there and it was one of the best we have tasted. Parking is located on a separate lot across the street. The building of the Zarandeado is ugly, it comes from what used to be a warehouse and cheap lawn seating is used. But do not get turned off by this or you will miss out on some good seafood. Heck you will see many luxury cars in the parking lot, so you can see the mix of people who visit this restaurant, from high income individuals to the average Joe all sitting mixed in together. The price is right, the cost of the zarandeado per kilo is $18 dollars at the time of our visit."

"I´m not too fund of mexican food. But our company´s manager in Guadalajara wanted us to try this "carne en su jugo". The best was about the story behind it. Adelita and the Centauros del Norte taking the city and all that. I explained to the waiter that in no way there should be any hot ingredients. What for he is not hot for me is very hot. so only my wife and our manager enjoy it. I didn.tSo be carefull. The service was OK and it is an ordinary place to go. No waiting and has parking lot"

"That's the only main dish they serve at this restaurant and they do it to perfection. It is a typical fare of the city; shavings of cooked meat served in their own juice. You add lemon, onions, cilantro and a little bit of hot sauce...and you are in heaven. They also serve some side dishes....try their bean. Desserts are also excellent, specially the flan de elote which is a corn based flan....simply delicious."
