"Family birthday lunch. Two of us had the chicken, bacon and coleslaw sandwich but as one of us is allergic to mayonnaise we ordered one without the coleslaw. Unfortunately it turned out to be a chicken mayonnaise sandwich so had to be sent back. Staff were understanding and asked what we'd like instead, ordered cheese toastie which we had to chase and didn't arrive until the rest of us had pretty much finished eating. Couldn't see or taste any bacon. Staff were friendly but we won't be rushing back."

"Good pub with a beautiful large beer garden. they make some very decent burgers and pommes for a good price. there are also many options regarding beer. try them when they are in the opposite atmosphere is always good. I was just really during the day, but it's always a relaxed atmosphere. the beer garden is great in hot weather"

"The welcome here is as icy as my mother-in-laws glare. An absolutes failure to appreciate a client has bothered to call. No smile, no niceties, not even a hello. I've seen 4 different staff behind the bar during my 3 visits, all of which need intensive people skill training. The beers are very average and over priced and the glasses they are served in are not always clean. I know that my opinion of this place is well informed and accurate, not from a one off visit. My search for a decent boozer in Cheltenham continues..."

"Marinades was recommended by a friend and after the first visit I was hooked and told all of my friends about it! I took my friend who is celiac and struggles to find restaurants that have more than one or two gluten free options however...Marinades is the opposite and she was over the moon! On the last Wednesday of every month they host a taster evening which is a great chance to try many dishes from the menu highly recommend this evening. Looking forward to returning again soon keep up the good work!"
