"I’ve never had so many things to choose from as a strict vegan in Richmond! So many options, I go there every week for takeout and they know my name now, super friendly staff. And huge portions for what you pay for, I always end up saving some for later. Even the meat eaters in my family like it! Their Kung pao chicken is the best!"

"I always stay at the hotel across the street when working in Richmond but have somehow always overlooked this place. WOW!!!!! The food is second to none and the service was fast and super friendly. Really upbeat and fun atmosphere with great beer. This is now my "go to" place for fresh and amazing Japanese Izayaka food."

"Very good. Though I believe the size of the rolls have gotten smaller. Fast service as well. I highly recommend the Dynamite roll. Spicy gyozas are great too."

"Went here almost by accident... late at night and the restaurant I wanted to go to said they were closing (even though their sign said open until and it was But their loss and my gain. Walked across the street to G-men Ramen...thinking that perhaps a ramen would taste good this late at night. Ordered the RCMP Ramen. Wow! What a nice surprise! Absolutely one of the most delicious ramen I've ever had (and I've had many). Excellent! Will be back for sure."

"We've been fans of G Men for years now they have great ramen, and the vibe is pretty authentically Japanese. My kids love the karaage chicken, and my husband gets the shio ramen. I love the tantanmen. The waitstaff is great; most of them are native Japanese speakers, which I love for getting to practice Japanese with them. My one complaint is that they no longer accept credit cards. Around 4 5 years ago, it seemed like they were having issues with them I remember some sort of sign about a security breech. Apparently more recently they'd only accept cards with photo ID...there was even a sign over our table stating that credit cards would only be accepted with photo ID. We had relatives visiting from the US who took us out for dinner at G men last night. When it was time to pay, they wanted to use their US credit card. Nope, not allowed. They took out their US debit card, since they were told that debit was ok. Nope, their system didn't allow a US card. We ended up having to cover the meal for our very embarrassed relatives. To be actively limiting the payment methods this day and age makes no sense...especially when the sign over our table very visibly stated that credit cards would be accepted only with photo ID. If you go there, make sure you have a Canadian debit card or cash, or be prepared to find a new restaurant for your meal."

"Went with a group of 4 couples on a Sunday night. Ramen was amazing! The aburi pork basically melted in your mouth (I suggest paying extra for the extra 2 pieces! . Service was good and quick although they forgot to bring out the tea one person ordered. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was spacious compared to other Ramen places in the lower mainland. The only downside is they wouldn't let us make multiple payments with the debit machine. They only allowed us to pay for the whole thing or split the bill into 2. That was pretty inconvenient given that they only take cash or debit."
