"We ordered gyros, which were large but very plain without any garnishes. They did come with large Greek saladson the side, enough to spare to dress up the gyros. I got the chicken, hefty pieces enough to make another sandwich the next day. My husband got regular gyros."

"There's a lot of restaurants in Asheville but if you don't make reservations, it may be difficult to get in. Fortunately four of us were able t get into the Jerusalem Garden Café at a decent hour for dinner. In fact, it wasn't filled with diners, maybe 4-5 other couples. What we ordered: Hummus appetizer with pita bread; two Jordanian chicken dishes; two lamb shawarmas; wine and water. My Jordanian chicken was a little tough but had good flavors. The hummus was creamy and flavorful; the lamb shawarma was the hit of the night. Each meal came with rice, pita, and a tahini salad. The Lobetia organic cabernet wasn't good at all. We weren't sure if it was old or just a poor quality brand of wine. Overall, a decent dinner along with reasonable prices."

"My friend researched restaurants to celebrate my birthday knew it had to be maine lobster. the background on this restaurant was perfect, but the reality was disappointing. my lobster roll was filled with salat, with lobster pieces on top. I get more lobsters from the lobster truck of the cousin, for half the price! the server was great. I hope the owners/partners take to know that this could be a great restaurant, but it needs some attention. it is wonderful to get maine lobster in asheville, but the small details can make a restaurant or break."

"Waiter was great. Very friendly and personable. Ordered appetizers for meals. Pop-corn shrimp and chicken quesadilla were delicious. However their nachos left something to be desired. Rolls with sugar and cinnamon butter were delicious as well. And they have funky lights. Overall great experience and would eat there again."

"We are so happy S&W has renovated the S&W. Have dined there several times and enjoyed it, though they still seem to be settling in. Love the Greek inspired food. Last visit, we tried the sausage appetizer (which was interesting sauce was terrific), chicken entree and shrimp entree all a bit overdone. However, the vegetable and paste which accompanied them were very good. Wine was excellent. S&W just needs a little time and it will be a top notch eatery. We will return for sure."
