"We had yet another amazing lunch time meal. Very tasty, well presented and plenty. Great value. £19 a head for three courses. The staff are all very pleasant and attentive. Will definitely return again soon. Thanks again"

"This is a gastro type pub that you could so easily walk past. Don 't! Run by a family with a clear desire to deliver 'English food with a twist ' (their words), it 's a clean, modern, semi-rustic place but not done in the large square open space style that some conversions have carried out. Cosy, relaxed feel with exceptionally good, friendly service. The menu offers a good range of dishes and a really good range of starter/sharer/taster dishes with a small range of desserts. A young head chef delivers really good food and the mussels are exceptionally good. All sauces and drizzles tried were wonderfully smooth and full of balanced flavour to match the dish. Any downs? Well, just two. The crab fish cakes could easily have had more flavour and the non-alcoholic beer range needs to be extended beyond the one choice. Don 't walk or drive past, give it a try!"

"Cool friendly staff manage to pull out perfectly our customised coffees! Outdoors area for smoking great located for gazing around! Menu based on seasonal produce and availability is the objective and was on spot!! I had a melting off bone chicken tajine with almond couscous to die for! Bordeaux Superieur, La Grave Singalier glass of wine complemented my meal but found it a bit commercial. Once more service was professional with a good banter even if the place was fairly busy! "Just had pie , fish and chips bought at 1.0pm . Must be the worst I've ever had , none of it was hot or crispy , tasted like yesterday's also didn't have to wait for the fish. It was done previously"
