"My girlfriend and I rang up The Fat Boar on a whim after unsuccessfully locating a pub on the way back from Anglesey. Over the phone I was met by a very bubbly lady who assured me that there was a table for two upon our arrival. Once we had arrived we were met by very friendly staff who showed us to the table and ordered our drinks whilst we made our minds up on what to order for tea. The Guinness was spot on, as was the Raspberry Gin which my girlfriend ordered. We finally settled for a Smash burger and Crispy Chicken burger. Food was spot on. I would definitely recommend the dirty fries if they accompany your dish! Whilst there, my girlfriend and I were planning our next visit! Hopefully in the summer next time as I would imagine it's a great bar in the summer. All in all, great value for money, nice atmosphere and helpful staff. Definitely be visiting again."

"This has be the best staff restaurant in Britain ,dishes we have enjoyed here include roast beef fillet, Turbot with lobster ravioli ,Scallops set on white truffle risotto , Treacle roast ham and fantastic home made soups,don't miss the vodka battered haddock with beef dripping chips every Friday. The lovely Front of house team are chatty ,friendly and can't do enough for the customer . This place is exclusive and really special"

"Had their takeaway haddock chips during shopping trip to Mold, the first in weeks so I was looking forward to it. I usually go for haddock instead of cod as it is always freshly cooked but obviously takes another minutes, which I...don’t mind. I’ve had cod on many previous occasions and it’s always ok. Service is always fast, efficient and above all friendly, and the prices are good. Portion sizes are always generous. The fish was lovely. As it was lockdown social distancing was being operated by customers without any problems. While I was waiting there were several customers arriving to collect their telephone orders, and business was brisk."
