"We tried the fish and chips here for the first time today and they were the best. The fish and batter was cooked to perfection. The chips tasted excellent, we had never tasted such delicious chips and we eat out quite often. Also the staff were friendly and fast service too."

"My favourite chip shop when I’m in the mood for a more traditional tasting meal. They cook with beef drippings so the flavour is different from other chip shops. If I’m in the mood for a cleaner taste then I go to Denny’s around the corner."

"Went in when with the idea of a drink and being tempted by the menu as we were both famished. However, the place looked a little dishevelled (actually 'grotty ' was our assessment) so the other half checked the Scores on the Doors. The Globe Inn, Upwell (yes, this pub the one the landlord seems to imagine punters mistake for a totally different establishment; whenever they give a less than favourable Trip Advisor review) is rated by Environmental Health as 1 out of 5 with little confidence in management. Nuff said. We left hungry, which has to be better than leaving with a food borne infection. Take your chances at your own discretion."

"Visited for a evening meal with some of my colleagues and a customer. I haven’t been to the restaurant before and was very impressed with the location and the surroundings of the venue. We sat outside as the weather was sunny. Lovely staff and in particular a young lady that I believe was fairly new? However she was extremely attentive and polite and even came out and the end of her shift to check we were ok and required anything else? Lovely touch and much appreciated. Will definitely revisit soon."
