"My kids team had a tournament in London and the team decided to go here for a team dinner. What I liked about the venue was the ambiance, large menu and drinks option. I had the catch of the day which was the grilled haddock. Portion size was excellent but it could use some more seasoning.What we didn't enjoy was the service. We were a large group of about 30 people and it took about an hour before our orders were taken and got water for the tables. The waiter did not have any help either which made it harder on him.Overall, it's an okay place but I am sure it would be better if we were a small group."

"Family owned and operated. Very standard pub/diner menu. If that's what you're looking for you'll find the service and food excellent and servings generous. Prices are moderate.Today they made me something off menu. It was amazing.The decor is a dated and tired. If you want the ritz you need to pay for it."

"We eat at Archies at least once a month, and have done for twenty years. My husband grew up here, and has been going since he was a teen. The fish & chips is a treat, but we usually have the seared halibut or the shrimp & haddock skewers. The chowder is a nice starter if you're really hungry, but if you want dessert you probably can't do both! Love the coconut cream pie, or an old-fashioned root beer float. Satisfying meals, and they know how to cook fish perfectly. Prices have gone up over the years, but "Good fish ain't cheap, and cheap fish ain't good.""

"Fried Shrimp was way too over cooked, sent back shrimp to kitchen, second batch was even more similar to rubber texture and completely dry. Fish was delicious but still over cooked, I imagine that the chef has never eaten at a proper seafood restaurant ever."

"Phoned just eats and ordered Halibut and Chips ! Great food and very flavouable! Received it at home with delivery ! And still hot and fresh ! , I ordered a one piece and fries and it was a perfect size !"

"The best darn wings I have ever had !We ordered whiskey dry rub and Louisiana wings- they were the bomb. We also ordered Lomita burger which was amazing as well.The interiors are cute and the service was pretty quick.100% worth driving 2 hrs ! ?"
