"The restaurant does look beat up from the outside, but the kitchen is very clean and organized. The fish and chips had perfect crispy batter and it was not oily at all. EAT HERE is what im trying to say."

"Little pricey, lots to choose from the buffet, my chicken was a little dry, but for sure give it another try, I don't like the way they charge you for your non alcoholic beverages, that should be included in the price. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch"

"Pay attention to the tourist trap Captain Scotts is. The fish-n-chips is a small overpriced, overcooked piece of fat squid that is not worth the 12.00 price-day. This place is expensive for a place where you eat a tray on a picnic table. It's better than Cavendish."

"This is the perfect lil gem, a place. Mussels.best on the island. If you want Chowder, this is the place! Fish and chips were amazing, and the burger was amazing. We usually do not eat dessert, but the cheese cake and carrot cake are worth the extra calories. Our servers Kyle and Robert were top notch! Nutrition restrictions: They were very accommodating with my allergies"

"Posted closing time of 7:00 pm. Showed up at 5:30 with sign on the door: closed. Place is full of locals. IF you are a tourist, they won't serve you. Even two locals had menus still on their table waiting for their order to be taken. They rattle off some excuse and won't seat you. Don't bother going if you aren't a local. This happened two nights in a row. Complete waste of time and high frustration. BTW we are well dressed seniors."

"This place was a fantastic little sound! I had the seafood cahowder and had not expected that the tomato base shell of chowder I got, but it was a wonderful turn on a seafood cahowder. seafood is often cooked over, especially in the chowder, as restaurants keep it heated throughout the day, so it is fast to send to the table. so often muddle and muddle as hard as rubber and taste of nothing, but not here! the garnel, muddle and scallops were all as tender as possible and paired with a pinot gregio and the crisp baguette with butter it was as good as it gets. the service was fast, the prices were reasonable (especially for the area where everything is very marked) and the atmosphere was great with original wide board wooden floors, high deck, many large windows and a clean and tidy feeling. Finally, the server at the end surprised with a bundle of freshly made cookies for my 7-year-old son who appreciates the sweet tasty bites for the road. I could no longer recommend this place to stop in any case."
