"Fortunately or unfortunately we picked one of the most busy times, Good Friday however the service was good the take out was lined up out the door but we were seated in no time. I have to say the halibut was excellent not greasy and the fries we good to. We have tried many fish & chip places and this one is definately we will revisit."

"Stopped by for lunch with husband. Ordered the Halibut fish as chip special. Was looking forward to having the salad in place of the fries. Disappointing that the only salad dressing available was Thousand Island. Passed on the salad. Surely with 3 people working, and not busy. Surely someone could of walked done to the No Frills to get other salad dressings.Halibut was great as usual, fries over cooked. Coleslaw had way to much dressing, un eatible."

"We have been going to Captain George's for the past 15 years. Their food never feels or tastes greasy. It is always cooked perfectly. Their Greek salad is a must to try. At lunch time it is a little cheaper. It is perfect for family as it is very comfortable and casual. You will not find a better place that makes fish and chips."

"Reeeally great place! We just stopped by on our way to a movie and we're pleasantly surprised.The food is delicious, good portions and prices. It's a classic hole in the wall feeling but clean, friendly and somewhere you want to stay and chill out.Wouldn't recommend the lemon pepper wings, a little heavy on the seasoning makes the flavor over powering but we also got honey garlic and hot and they were so damn good. Grilled cheese was also yummy and their fries are the exact same as New York fries! Get your butt over there and nom nom"

"We had take-out from Churchill 's fried halibut last night and it was delicious! Portions were enormous. Fish was crispy and chips were spot on. The batter was a bit heavy (but yummy! and we heard someone order light batter while we were waiting. We will try that option on our next visit. And they accept cash only for payment."
