"So glad to see this Whitehorse favourite reopen. It’s under new owners but the friendly atmosphere and great service remains. And the new menu? AH-MAZING. appies and dishes, all outstanding, comforting, flavour packed parties for your palate. This will return to being our goto for delicious, unpretentious dining in Whitehorse. "Had not been out for dinner in a really long time. We were in town for a couple days and finally had the opportunity to go for dinner. G&P has always been one of my favourite restaurants to go to. I ordered the halibut, which came with veggies and rice. The halibut was very over cooked and dry, the veggies had no taste as did the rice. Most disappointing meal I have every had at GP. Not sure if I will be going back. It's not cheap and when u you spend the money you expect a good dinner. The service was very good except when I requested a booth I was told they were not available. The whole time we were in the restaurant nobody occupied the booths so not sure why we were told that we couldn't have one.....felt like I was lied too."

"Was dubious given the low approval rating and poor review, but this Vancouver diner was OK with the prices and thought the atmosphere was great and friendly. Calamari as appetizer was perfect, as was focaccia bread to start. Halibut was perfect and very fresh. All good here and prices seemed in line with our expectations."

"Stopped with out of town guests to try out this new restaurant this weekend.From the road, it's hard to know it's even there-I had read about it or really would not have paid any attention to it. The signs are right on the building and you can't tell what kind of business it is if you are just driving by. Also, there are no signs on the HWY. When you park and get out, you find yourself wondering where you go to get in. Something at the bottom of the stairway might be a good idea.Now to the food. There were 3 of us and none of us thought $6.00 for a small order of fries and $8.00 for a large-which was not a big order-was a good price considering they were nothing to write home about.The onion rings would have been very good if the oil had been hot enough to fry them without them absorbing so much of it as to make them really greasy. And $11.00?The club sandwich was awkward and the fillings fell out when picked up-large chunks of chicken don't stay in the sandwich. The halibut chunks were good. The wings....The service was good and friendly. Overall, I hope the issues are just opening glitches and that 2 months has not been enough for them to iron out the bumps"

"Good salmon skewers, ribs were tasty and tender but most of the membrane appeared to still be there. We ordered a side of focaccia bread which wasn't great, but the beer made up for it. The salmon and ribs special was plenty for two. Cool atmosphere, good service I'd go there again."
