"Was looking forward to our first fish and chip takeaway since lockdown, unfortunately disappointing. This chippy always used to be good but definitely not today. Chips were overdone, cod was also overdone with minimal batter and extremely small portion and granddaughter had a jumbo sausage...that she said tasted funny. Altogether a disappointing experience."

"We celebrate special birthdays at our company and one of our employees requested Big10 as their birthday lunch. Having never eaten there before I wasn't sure what to expect but I put my request in for them to cater a lunch for around 30 people to be available for 1pm. The ordering process was quick and easy and the pricing was extremely reasonable. in all honesty we were not expecting them to be able to accommodate our corporate lunch request, but they did. We collected the food at 1pm from the shop. the food was perfectly packed and they even allowed us use of their thermal bags which kept the food hot. we served up the food (of which there was ample) to our staff. we had, ribs, three different flavours of chicken wings, flavoured fries and coleslaw. the food was some of the most flavoursome I have ever had. the meat on the ribs was so succulent falling from bone with ease. the chicken wings also bursting with flavour. even the staple fries and coleslaw were next level nice. everyone who had the lunch expressed that it was some of the nicest they have ever had. I now have ample requests from staff for big10 to be their birthday lunch. Thank you to Rich and the team at Big10 for such amazing food and service."

"Sandwiched between a Thai restaurant and a Piri Piri chicken joint, it is easy to miss!! We are so happy we didn't!! The door opens to a long Tardis-like area, tastefully decorated and wel-lit. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and the menu rich and varied. Comfortable seating and white tablecloths on the tables make one feel like an hinoured guest! The food is authentic, very tasty and of exceptionally high quality. The restaurant also enjoys a Hygiene Rating of 5 and it shows in everything!! We will be back and we will also order for delivery when we feel a bit lazy!"

"We visited before a show at the Grove theatre. It was early on a Friday night. Restaurant was not busy. Service by 3 different waiters yet we were waiting on drinks, bill etc. It's quite expensive. £34.50 for mixed kebab and it was not a generous portion. They got my order wrong, I didn't have time to send back it was nice enough. It's OK. Halloween decor was good. Mmmm, I'm not sure if I'll be back for a while, needs to improve dramatically."
