"What a very pleasant discovery. Looking for somewhere for lunch we stumbled upon Le Bistro by chance and were pleased that we did. A small but very cute restaurant with a good choice on the menu including many pizzas. I ordered from the plat de...jour, the salad with lardons to start with was excellent followed by belly pork and chips and salad. Again, a very decent meal full of flavour and beautifully cooked. My wife went for the quatre fromages pizza and it was also very pleasant. Shame we were driving as the choice of wines and draft beers was excellent and would have enhanced an already very pleasant experience. We had arrived bang on 12.00 and were the first customers but when we left the place was full and our table had new customers waiting for it as soon as we got up to leave. Always a good sign!"

"Very convenient location, but obviously oriented for tourist. we had bavette de boeuf, which was called tender, but was actually unusable. a mountain of chips came with it. when we told the owner how poor it was, they just shoved their shoulders....Waiting staff very helpful."

"Is the mention to the michelin guide. sought after kitchen made of fresh and local products. A delight. I don’t miss dinner at each of my fern passages (I’m staying for travellers) and am always surprised at the richness of the dishes on the menu. this time turn to snails and g fc ilet of sandre."

"This is hidden in the old medaeval town below the castle. It was one of the more expensive creperies we visited in Brittany but the price was worth it. I very muched enjoyed my Onion Crepe. Local cider served in pottery cups. We ate inside but there is an outside area. One of the very few places we discovered a high chair and changing facilities during our stay. Pleasant and efficient service."

"Having visited this restaurant numerous times while living in France and never having a bad meal, my husband and I decided to try it again after not visiting for four years. It was very busy, so expected to wait a little longer, it was 40mins...before our starter came and that was ok. Our main course was awful, my husbands lamb cutlet was very thin and grisly with a small garnish and a pile of chips, no sauce so very dry. My duck leg (which was boiled) came with the same garnish and chips also no sauce, certainly not what we have been used to in France. I asked the waitress if it came with sauce and she said no, my husband complained about his lamb and she said it was perfectly alright and shrugged. We left without having a dessert very disappointed."
