"It was our 40th wedding anniversary and our B&B hosts had kindly reserved us a table at Le Fort Saint-Anne. We were welcomed very nicely even though a large party arrived at much the same time. We both chose the more expensive formule, but as my husband does not eat sea food asked to change his entree assiette for another. I had the one with scallops and smoked trout as well as a very good pâté and ham and other lovely goodies. Our main was an entrecôte served with morels: it was served rare to blue, which I would normally struggle with but it was so perfectly done I enjoyed every morsel. Our dessert was chocolate and raspberry and delicious. A wonderful celebratory luncheon accompanied by well matched wines."
