"Arrived a little early before the grill in the garden was fired up. Staff heartily greeted us anyway and promptly got to work. We barely speak or understand French, the waitress was patient with us and helped to make us understand the menu nonetheless. My wife, visibly chilly, was immediately offered a blanket. All very pleasant and friendly.Atmosphere is the opposite of highbrow. Cheap plastic chairs and tables and the cutlery on our table didn't match. We also wonder what the unsightly concrete building used to be for. A hospital? An insane asylum? All in all it is quite charming though.We enjoyed the menu with a delicious mousse of foie gras over a sort of vegetable-cake, perfectly tender duck and vegetables and a simple dessert with apicrot icecream. Plain table wines, nothing special. Pleasantly surprised with the bill."
