"For the first time we arrived here with a 13-year-old son for dinner for my husband birthday. they were made to feel very welcome and they serve good old fashion home cooked eating. wich was beautiful!"

"After ordering from the sandwich section of the menu and paying for what I thought was going to be a goats cheese, tomato and pesto sandwich I was disappointed when one small piece of bread arrived with a pathetic amount of toppings. We ordered...sweet potato chips which were burnt and the ham in the croque monsieur was tough and fatty. Overall the food was of a poor standard and we would not recommend this café if you are looking to enjoy your food."

"Spent the afternoon here for a big family gathering. I struggled with the menu on the day initially due to dietary requirements so chose off the kids menu which I was fine with. The amazing staff however sorted the dish into an adult’s version unbeknown to me which was simply a god send considering I hadn’t ate all day and this was about 2:30/3:00pm! 100% recommend and would visit again if I’m back in the area and the opportunity arises. Thank You!"

"Our friends Tim and Janet, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary at Hurtwood Park. The whole thing was superb, the food the music and the good company of friends. Very little to complain about, except the ladies loos and the drive leading to the club, but hey we can forgive that. Thank you Hurtwood, but even more thanks and love to Tim and Janet.. Xx"

"The Star Inn is a lovely place! Whilst we didn't sit in the inside, from what I saw the interior is so very warm and cosy. The garden is very cosy! It may seem a bit narrow, but it isn't difficult to navigate. The bar staff are really nice I get nervous about ordering at the bar, but their friendliness put me at ease. Their bar food is really nice."

"Received a nice welcome and shown to our table, so far so good. Quite a dull wine list. Food arrived in a pile them high fashion. Swamped in diluted gravy. My chicken and carrots were OK. My partners pork offering was quite tasteless and tough. The table was not cleared, and I had to ask for the bill as the staff were avoiding us. Asked the lady if she had any questions for us, as we still had half eaten plates, she said no! Very dissapointing, and won't be returning. No enquiry, or apologie. NOTHING MERRY AT THIS HARRIERS FOR US"

"Brilliantly friendly Starbucks with attentive staff and skilled baristas. On my visit the barista was herself dissatisfied the flat white she had just made and insisted on getting it just right. The restaurant has a tight footprint but seating was available and there is a good bathroom."

"Well located on old road from Haslemere to Guildford and easy parking and flat entrance all the way through garden Centre to cafe. All staff at this location are friendly and whilst not spectacular surroundings a fairly relaxed atmosphere ;can be crowded sometimes which speaks...for itself ;. the food is always good and the soups spectacular and service good. I always call in if I am coming down the road and know I won't be disappointed"
