I love this old pub! very nice and friendly staff, and it was as beautiful as old and authentic the pub felt. many nooks and cranes to explore! had a great guiness. we also tried the Camembert bites that were delicious but not incredible. I'm sure their main and roasting would have been more impressive. large space overall, would love to go back when in godalming again! read more.

Great pub, friendly service good beer. Unfortunately the boxing day live music was consigned to a small back room which made it impossible to enjoy the music and hear it from in the bar area. Should do better to help make music, and musicians, more prominent. read more.
