"A great place to watch the city with a friend, a beer in one hand and a bowl of chips in the other. <br> <br> Yum! <br> The views of the city are fantastic<br> Outdoor balcony<br> Great decor <br> <br> Eh... <br> The beef burger had a generous beef patty, but the meat was dry and had a underwhelming sauce<br> <br> The servings were small for bistro style cuisine and the price tag<br> <br>"

"So whilst I was chowing down on my delicious $9.90 ($10) steak special at the Mosman Hotel, my mate proceeded to inform me of another wonderful deal one can find in Mosman. A $15 burger, fries and schooner of beer (Fat Yak Pale Ale) at Mosman’s Burger Shed. A combo like that for $15 is usually a steal, especially when you consider most pubs will charge at least half of that if not more for a schooner of Fat Yak. Being a burger connoisseur, I was in and we agreed to meet up later that week to spend a worthy $15.&nbsp;<br> <br> I went with the Smokey Bacon which comes with a waygu beef patty, streaky bacon, cheese, onion, tomato, lettuce, pickles and Smokey Shed sauce. My mate just went with the Vintage cheese which is a basically a cheeseburger. Both burgers are served up on soft milk buns. We both paired ours with a Schooner of Fat Yak (naturally, c’mon!) which were poured from the tap at the counter into fancy looking Fat Yak branded glasses.<br> <br> The restaurant wasn’t overly busy for a Wednesday evening and our meals came out quickly. Appearance wise they looked pretty damn good. Not extravagant or anything that looks like it’s trying for a place in the Guinness World Records, but it looked solid and tasty. The fries came in little deep fryer baskets that I’ve noticed some restaurants are using as s trendy way to serve chips.<br> <br> The chips were solid and on point. Hot, and crunchy whilst remaining soft and fluffy on the inside. I’ve noticed that French Fries no longer seem to be the norm at most places, and this pleases me a lot. French Fries are overrated in my opinion. Fine for McDonalds, but other than that they’re not needed in the culinary world.<br> <br> The burger ended up being pretty tasty. The patty, which is kind of the centrepiece of the burger wasn’t as good as I was hoping to be. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t made in house and was pre-made by a machine (you can always tell just by the shaping of the patty). It was also slightly overcooked for my liking leaving it a little chewy. That aside, it was seasoned well and tasted OK. It did go well with the other ingredients in the burger. The smokey burger sauce was really nice and complemented the patty and bacon really well. The bacon was cooked nicely, but wasn’t crispy which is OK by me in a burger. The cheese had melted perfectly over the beef which is always a good sign, and the lettuce and tomato provided an excellent freshness which rounded out juices dribbling out courtesy of the oil from the beef and cheese, along with the burger sauce.<br> <br> All in all, it was a nice burger, without being anything overly special. I’ve heard these guys have been poor in the past but apparently have been taken over and in recent months have been improving. The addition of the $15.00 burger special with a beer is a great concept and I’m sure it’s going to help bring many customers though the doors. So long as they keep the simple things right with their burgers I’m sure they’ll gain a good reputation of being a solid burger joint in Mosman and the Northern Beaches/North Shore. I’m sure I’ll be back. They’ve some other burgers that look pretty decent, and you can’t go wrong with a schooner of beer with a burger!"

"I had been recommended this chicken shop by a good friend, who raved about it, and now i can see why. Chargrill Charlie’s popped up on my instagram sharing some love. With shops all other the north side of the bridge, when i was in Manly, i had to stop by for lunch. Like a newb i walked in to order, then realised there is a whole system going on here. You grab a number, then order then somehow they remember you and tell you when you order is ready. Justin Bieber visited on the 17th March, which is proudly displayed in the middle of the shop. JB had a very good tip off here Chicken cheese;; american cheese combo $15.30 waow! i didn’t get many photos because i literally inhaled this burger in 1 minute. I don’t know whether it’s the red onion, secret sauce or that chicken that makes this burger so amazing. #addicted Also those fries, i love that you go to a chicken shop and the chips are fries, its the absolute perfect companion rather than thick hot chips"

"Bad customer service. 1. Looking at the kid's menu to order a juice or Ice cream for the kids but the staff suddenly said "this is kid menu, look at the price!" How rude is this? He treated me like a person who does not even know kid menu or deliberately order kid menu to save money or something. 2. This rudeness happened again at the counter when I pay for the table. The male staff did not say thanks. Only word from his arrogant mouse is "pay pass?" He did not mention how much the table was, instead he just showed me the receipt. Then when I finish paying and say thanks to him but he ignored me with grumpy face. This is not only one experience happened at one particular day. I am just telling you one example. The staff, espacially male staff, they have attutude problem and dont know how to treat their customers. Their coffee is good but not to overcome their poor service. Maybe I can still use them only to get a takeaway coffee. Foods are just average. So big NO from me."
