"Had potential to be a great meal, but they dropped the ball. The lunch line was long and not moving quickly, tables were not bussed, seating was limited. When the food arrived it was not served for everyone at the table, and was not hot. Took quite a bit (5 - 7 minutes) for all to be served after the first meal arrived on the table."

"My wife and I are big foodies, we especially love our breakfast and coffee.

We went to Lonsdale Street Roasters (LSR) on Monday Morning (Public Holiday) You don't require a booking when dining at LSR. Being a public holiday it was quite busy, there was still plenty of tables indoors and the outdoor section at the back of the cafe, the front and main outdoor area were quite busy but we were able to get ourselves a seat out in the sun. The menus are located at the front of the restaurant near the cash register which means you have to squish past the people waiting to order (as it's an order at the register type dealio) and the people sitting at the tables to get a menu. The menu is quite exciting, there are a lot of selections that all sound as good as each other.

The atmosphere- The front outdoor section of the cafe definitely had the most atmosphere and was the most inviting, the weather turned on the charm, that mixed with the rustic furniture making it hard for us to leave. The indoor section seemed a bit boring, there is not much in the way of decor and was extremely loud.

Coffee- I ordered a Flat white and my wife, a latte. As to be expected from coffee roaster, the coffee was on on fleek. I love that they have a take away window at the front which is more convenient if you're just after a coffee but is also quicker for people dining in. Another plus is that you can purchase any of the beans if you did enjoy your brew.

Brekkie 1- Eggs Benedict Cumberbatch, I got this with the Pork Belly because i'm a little oinker and pork belly is incredible. I believe there are some other options too (Bacon and Salmon). This was delicious, very appealing in appearance when it came out. The Poached eggs were perfectly cooked with a gooey yolk. The pork belly was as good as I imagined and it too was perfectly cooked. They came served on fresh corn bread with a really nice relish on the side. This was a really nice breakfast, I don't think that corn bread is the best choice for this dish, but overall was delicious.

Brekkie 2- Quinoa and Avo, My wife ordered this as she wanted a nice fresh and healthy option. She was not disappointed, the Avocado was delectable, as was the bread and the Quinoa was very light. This dish was really tasty and the flavours worked really well together.

Overall the food was delicious, the meals came out quickly. The coffee was great. The atmosphere was Booming. Very satisfied and would return."

"Literally worst service of my life. Friends got pushed off a table bc it was their "Instagram" table, then when we moved, my friend got told "not to turn around" because they didn't want her face in their shot. My other friend asked if she could get some take away hot chips and the waitress didn't look up from her phone and said "mmm no" and walked away. Pitiful honestly."

"My wife and I went to this small but tasteful resteraunt for some quick pre-dinner drinks before the movies - classic date night, I know right?! Whilst I had been there during the day to have a good cup of coffee and toast during work (don't tell them), I saw they did 'Wings and ribs' on the window, so I thought to myself, "Self, how bad can it be?" We were pleasantly surprised and ended up having delicious pizza and a glass or two of really good local Canberra wine to wash it down. All of this with a really nice view of the workers bustling home from their days in the office - accompanied by the backdrop of Glebe Park (whilst a little more 'sticky' than when the leaves are out - still beautiful). End of the day, good pizza, great local wine and once the candles start to illuminate the place as the sun falls below the horizon, the place takes on a whole different, relaxed yet cool vibe. Well worth a look."

"Braddon as a suburb gets very busy on a weekend as we found this while looking for somewhere to have breakfast. Rye was busy but we were able to get a table. The service was good and the food and drinks came in a suitable...time. A nice place to have a bite to eat."

"In addition to the vegan option version Ful Medames medium-east chickpea casserole), which is delicious, there is also “vegan option” miso Auberginenburger with white beans hummus. Page of avo is available. The vegan dessert option is just the orange and rosin toast do not have to request maple butter."
