"I found this cute little place from Yelp and am so glad I did! I'm allergic to dairy, so finding good sorbet is always a bit of a cat and mouse game. Al Gelato has some of the best sorbet especially because they have a chocolate flavor that is just as rich and amazing as regular chocolate ice cream. I love that this place stays open late so I can come here after seeing a show in the LA area and grab a couple scoops of sorbet. I like to sit down and eat my sorbet inside, but they let you take it to go as well. There are several tables inside since it is also a restaurant. Overall, a very cute place to go especially if you're looking for some tasty sorbet/gelato! It's definitely a bonus that they stay open very late."

"Our family of 4 with adult children stopped in. A true hole in the wall but the food was GREAT! My favorite part was the salsa that you can top on whatever you want. They have an extensive menu! Husbands I split a great omelet, good quality ingredients we are pretty foodie and I like to cook/bake! Coffee wasnt to my liking but the waitress was sweet the owner brought us a sample of their famous ham they been making for many years. I think you said they used to have a store in Los Angeles closer to downtown."

"I refuse to go back. This place used to be my go to spot. Staff were really friendly, in store music worked (good feeling pop/indie), I could count on what I ordered to be professionally and honestly made with a smile. House lemonade rocked, cookies were good, and I would sometimes get a bag of chips to snack on later as well. Fast forward to mid Feb 2023. Really sad. I don't know. I didn't stop in here for a good long time as I was not in the area or I would go elsewhere, came back after walking around Downtown and really wanting a good salad as the toppings are a great variety, and encountered the most miserable female employee you could possibly encounter who just clearly hasn't found herself a better job. When somebody makes you come in on a day off or whatever the case may be, nothing can make you want to do what you're doing. That sort of a situation. I was super polite. Ordered as I normally did off their list that's at the counter line by line which I believed her to be marking as they normally do. I sat down at a table as I planned to eat there and trusted that when she called me after having MADE IT CORRECTLY, I could pay for it, TIP, and eat it. It turns out, no. This one needs you hovering like a vulture alongside her with your extremely close supervision. To think about it, I should have been noticing her crazy side eye!!! I believe without a doubt she purposely put everything I didn't order with just enough to make it look like she put in what I asked for (because they chop it to smithereens I mean take out your corporate aggression here on your company, NOT ME) and then had the nerve to charge me for exactly what was ordered on my list. Just plain being evil and devious.Writing feedback directly to them does nothing, so if the customer doesn't appear to matter to them, why should a disgruntled employee? I did tip and what's more, I said thank you after having eaten most of it anyway because I wasn't about to fight her over this stupid nonsense. It's a salad. I didn't die from it. But no. Don't trust this place at all. I can't imagine what the online orders are getting. You wouldn't even be there to send it back, worse came to worse. It's a shame because they do have a great topping selection. I just don't need some angry female deliberately messing up what I tell her to put in something I'm about to pay for."
