"Just had a beautiful meal here! Haven't been for a while but the food is still amazing. We had the mixed grill and chicken gyros followed by a chocolate brownie to share (couldn't manage one each! All delicious and throughly enjoyed. The staff are so lovely and even pushed our baby around in the pram so we could sit and enjoy our meal. You don't get that personal touch and service everywhere. Will be back soon, hopefully!"

"We booked this hotel after having a race day at Elvington. The staff couldn’t have done enough for us, even giving us a bag of chocolates. The Chinese restaurant was the best Chinese food we have ever had, well worth a visit. The rooms were very comfortable and everything we needed. The continental breakfast was such a surprise, they are left outside your room at an agreed time, and consisted of sausage muffin with scrambles egg (hot) a full carton of orange juice, I carton of fresh milk, banana, chocolate bread, yoghurt and a punnet of strawberries, all in a brown bag left outside your door. Excellent"

"£3,80 was a very fair price for small fish and chips and they went well. there was a lot of shredded, small pointy chips and black bits, but the möwen enjoyed them."

"Cannot fault this place and cannot thank them enough. I turned up with my 3 year old daughter who is a fussy eater, they accommodated her request and didn't rush us when ordering. All staff were extra friendly and even watched our table and food whilst I took my daughter to the toilet. Will definitely visit again and recommend to a friend as both myself and daughter her happy, had full bellies and both enjoyed our meals. Thank you to the staff."

"First visit here today, amazing selection of gelato flavours and cones. Fresh, eye catching interior. Few tables and chairs inside some outside in the sunshine. Waffles, paninis, slushies, milkshakes and sweets hot drinks. All very well priced. Service was warm, friendly and efficient we loved Swirlz and we will definitely visit here again soon"

"We went to this lovely tea room with our two dogs. We were made extremely welcome by warm and friendly staff who were pleased to see us. The coffee is great and the scones and lemon drizzle cake are divine. I also purchased a jar of blossom honey which is lovely. I'd certainly make a return visit."
