"I came here searching for an opportunity to have a vegan brunch in Santa Barbara. Unfortunately, LA traffic held me up and I didn’t get there until after the brunch hour, and they were eager to warn me that they close in an hour—even though I had an hour left to order and eat and they weren’t at all packed. Anyway, the menu looked wonderful, but the food was surprisingly bland despite a beautiful presentation. The pulled mushroom sandwich had a subtle barbecue flavor, but it tasted as if it hadn’t been marinated and the oyster mushrooms were not tender. The fudge brownie basically tasted like cacao paste with slight sweetener in it. Actually, my favorite dish was the side salad that had shredded beats on top. It was quite flavorful and the blend of the tart shredded beets complement of the balsamic vinegar dressing very well."

"Fabulous food and service, starting with being greeted by the incredibly cordial manager Robert when we arrived. I loved the cauliflower dish and my husband loved the short rib pasta. Excellent service. We did have to wait quite a while at the valet to get our car."

"A great quick healthy bite in a relaxed enough atmosphere to not feel bad bringing the kids. Plenty of outdoor seating if you're virus conscientious but still want to eat out in the restaurant. Love the soups, the sandwiches, the salmon, and the desserts!"

"Service was great. Because they were low on staff, the waiter continued to reassure food was coming, and seemed apologetic. Now the problem was the food was okay. On a monday night, they seem to have limited options. I got the loaded tater tots, and it tasted nothing special. Just bacon bits, toppings, with sour cream on what tasted like previously frozen tater tots. The restaurant was dog friendly and they had more outside room in the back to sit. Menu for dogs were limited compared to what is posted here. I think it would be okay for drinking beer and watching a game but food was so limited and tasted average, so not sure i would recommend eating dinner here"

"Eating was absolutely amazing I had the tamale without acid cream. the personal was really about securing the meal was vegan. I even double checked that the filling was actually meatless, it looked like ground meat! super tasty, would give a 5-star rating if I could!"
