"Miremont is a trade-mark of Biarritz and they are using it wrongly: while decor inside is very good, the service , both inside and outside is too slow and close to none, and the quality of products there except their own pastries is quite average....Their own pastries are good but grossly over-priced. In overall, far lower the expectations."

"We sat outside on a warm night in Biarritz. Waiting staff were friendly and efficient. Our food looked ok and tasted fine but it was all just a little underwhelming. It was reasonable value for money and I would give it another go to see if they can up their game."

"This patisserie has a lot of charm as the architecture and features have been preserved from when it opened in the 19th century. However, the service was appalling and ruined our experience. We waited about 15 minutes before the waiter noticed us and we actually had to do a lot to get his attention. He served people who arrived after us first, which is something that always annoys me greatly. Once we ordered, the wait was long and we sat with the dishes used by previous customers throughout. Luckily we had a big table. When my tea arrived, there wasn’t enough water in the teapot and they’d forgotten the milk I asked for. The two tables next to us had their orders messed up too. There were two waiters for a small tea room but they seemed totally overwhelmed and it wasn’t even busy. They hardly cleared any tables once customers left. In my view such a beautiful establishment should make sure their staff reflect their image. I expected good service and expertise. The waiter seemed clueless about the cakes sold in the adjoining patisserie area. Surely basic stuff? What a disappointment!"

"Six months have passed, between my first visit to the Nelly madeleine Tea Fair and this day when we rediscover the pleasures of being able to find our outings and prefèrated places, after the containment ...The Nelly reception is always as charming, as well as its attentive service ... Chocolate always warms a delight! And the madeleines with orange blossom, which I had the pleasure of discovering, a real happiness for the senses... To be discovered during your visit to Biarritz !..."

"We had brunch and a croque monsieur for lunch here and it was ok but a bit expensive. No chair for kids. Nice place to sit and watch the beach and people walking by. The brunch was quite good, freshly squeezed orange juice, baguette, croissant, fried eggs, ham tea and fruit salad."
