"A marvel of place! not very big but exceptional. very well served. specialized in fish. fish soup is addictive. very good! rations are immense. It's worth making room for desserts. very good and wide and interesting wine menu. high price but quality deserves it. update November remains for me one of the best bilbao sites. the service is also charming and continues to eat luxury"

"I’d like to say the service was bad in here but we got no service at all. Myself and my partner went into this place today for lunch as it’s listed in the lonely planet guide for Bilbao. We were waiting at the counter for ten minutes being roundly ignored by the girl behind the counter. Not even so much as a nod. That’s bad enough but when a Spanish speaking local entered, she turned and served him first. He even nodded to her that we were waiting and she made a face as if to say ‘they can wait, they’re only tourists’ I’m absolutely furious with this level of ignorance. She was beyond rude. I’ll be writing to lonely planet to advise them to remove this place from new editions of the guide. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place unless you like feeling like you’re dipped in sh&t."
