"We love the Alpetta, Courmayeur’s slope-side rock restaurant. Lunch today was excellent, goats cheese salad, burgers and apple crumble. Many Italian dishes on the menu including a range of polenta. The burger was described by my 19y old burger loving son as ‘the best ever’. The owner Giorgio is so friendly and his love of rock music and gorgeous food infectious. The hot chocolate is also a Courmayeur favourite. Easy to ski in/out of or to walk to from Plan Checrouit. Definitely worth a visit, and also open in the evenings for dinner."

"We have been there for three consecutive days and always felt very happy. It's one of those charming places that we just love. No luxury, no extensive menu but what they serve is soo good. Hot chocolate, espresso, Minestrone soup and sandwiches was all superb. The building itself really feels like it has been around for 300 years."

"The restaurant represented a convenient and welcoming location after a busy morning on the slopes. The pizza's and pasta dishes were first rate and good value for money. Beware though make sure that you make a reservation if you intend to eat at lunchtimes particularly...at the weekend and in peak season!"

"This snack bar is just by the Dzeuluna chair lift, halfway down a lovely blue run. The staff were extremely friendly helpful the prices for coffee were very reasonable too. A nice place to stop for a mid morning afternoon break"

"We must have visited this fabulous cafe/restaurant many times in our one week stay in Courmayeur. Warm, cosy somewhere to relax and enjoy the best food, wine, beer and cocktails. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, no worries if language is hit and miss (we tried! . After coffee or hot chocolate with cream stay a while and then try Aperol Spritz huge sparkling glass of lots of fab things. Something for everything and the generous platters of cheese, meats, crisps, olives ..... loved it thank you. 100% quality in every way. Mountain views too."

"We stopped here for a very welcome break from our first attempt at Nordic walking on the trail of Val Ferrett. The three of us ordered hot wine which was fantastic the soup which we had thought was expensive at €10 a head but we were very impressed. Lots of different types of bread fresh local produced cheese to put in the over flowing vegetable soup. It was so good we headed back the following day after we'd taken the walking trail brought with us a few more members of our group had the soup wine all over again just as great. Very welcome atmosphere from the staff. Won't give you tap water though."
