"We came in for tea and scones after finding most places in Sassafras too crowded. Wonderful ambience, prompt service, and delicious fluffy scones and good quality tea. Will definitely come back next time we are up Mt Dandenong. Worth a visit."

"Yes, I'm a big city coffee snob. But when travelling in regional places I am more than happy to expect something less that Seven Seeds. I had had no great expectations of Emerald. And generally this lower expectation has been met, but sometimes not met, and rarely exceeded. Staying at the Emerald Executive Apartments, which is in fact located in a shopping mall car park, I did not expect the best coffee in town to come from a shop located in the mall. But the strangely named, Luv-a-Coffee, was a pleasant surprise. Opened from 7am every day it has, as far as I can tell, having now tasted coffee from just about every place in town, makes the best coffee in town. I also ordered poached eggs on toast, which came perfectly cooked on Turkish bread, crisply toasted. Simple, but perfect eggs, trump everything! So, forget the main street cafes, and head to the mall for Emerald's best coffee -- and breakfast!"

"We stopped by here for a coffee and some brekky and got it all takeaway and went to the Giant Easel to eat our delicious food in the sun. The coffee was delicious and so was the food. Must try! Quick a great price!...You had a suggestion box.... credit to you for always wanting to better yourself but you have NAILED YOUR BUSINESS!! Outstanding Bakery and Amazing staff!"
