"The ORIGINAL Lester's Diner. Great place for breakfast. Try the 2 2 2. I'd just have the eggs before the pictures over, crispy bacon, and fluffy pancakes polished. The 14 oz. cup of coffee is over refills. Do not think that the O.J. is really freshly squeezed (there is a dispenser machine, no evidence for squeezing continues). But the place is a pleasure, with extensive menu. If you're lucky, you'll make Lauren wait for you with a smile. The decor has been authentic (restored) since '67."

"We rated at the hotel and had breakfast buffet next morning at the Crab. We sat outside as it was beautiful weather. The inside was pretty vacant and quiet if you like that. There is a lot of traffic noise outside but the people watching makes up for it. This is not beachfront but faces very busy A1A. But the service and quality and value of the buffet made up for any shortcomings."

"Fort Lauderdale has plenty of steak houses. Capitol, Rare and Ruth Chris to name few. Among them, Morton's shines as one of the best. They all have great steaks, but Morton's also has other top quality foods too, like thier crab cakes. Delicious. The best thing about Morton's is their happy hour 5-6 at the bar. They have a $5.00 bar bite menue that is top of the line and a real bargain. Evening meals are very expensive. The food is great, but you are really going to have to dent your wallet to get it. If you want a great aged meat steak, nearly as good, but at half the price, try J. Mark's on Federal."
