"Cool decor inside. Long wait for my food (about 20 minutes) and the restaurant was not busy inside at the time. Ordered the Pad Thai and it was my first time trying it, so maybe it’s just my preferences but I didn’t like it. They also used glass noodleinstead of the usual thin, flat rice noodles."

"Shannon (General Manager) Anita (our waitress) were our new best friends super cheerful, beautiful and easy going Dennys! When we first came in, I noticed Anita that she had the name of my mother, and she laughed and had such a slight, friendly attitude, I was immediately pleased that she wanted to be our waitress! She was attentive, kept our waterglasses filled, never stopped smiling. When I came to see how great our food was, Shannon, General Manager, came by and talked to us at our table. Thanks, ladies, you're real! GREAT experience would definitely return to Houston on the next trip!"

"Executive Chef Maurizio and his staff at Alba have raised the bar in Houston. The food, the service and the ambiance are second to none. We have dined at Alba several times, and Cavour (previous restaurant, same chef) even more.. Always impressed!! They are always willing and extremely capable of accommodating special requests. Can’t wait to get back for a special meal!!"

"The service was the worst we have seen in a very long while. We ordered orange juice and ice water. After 15 minutes I finally flagged someone down to request the ice water. Our server Pamela didn't seem to be able to handle more than one or two tables, management should have easily spotted this and taken up the slack. Everything else was good though, can't hold the whole restaurant to blame for one poor server. Didn't eat the breakfast buffet or omelettes but they looked really on point. We had Migas tacos that were average, but the re fried beans were nice and spicy. *The Texas Benny is something I would highly recommend. It is an interesting take on the eggs Benedict, biscuit with BBQ and onions with a pouched egg a top a gravy drizzle."
