"The chilli scrambled eggs were amazing. The amount of chilli, the texture of the eggs, and the salmon were fabulous. And the brioche bun was so buttery! And the best part was that I didn't even need to season it because the taste was so well balanced. The picture doesn't do it justice."

"We went to Raven & Rose this morning for our family breakfast. We had coffees and the big breakfast to share. The service was great. The coffee were good and the food was delicious, particularly the eggs. It was also a good setting with a garden next to the seating area that our 6 year old enjoyed exploring."

"I have eaten here many of times now and when I am in Mordialloc I go to no other place! I am neither vegan nor vegetarian but just love the healthy range of food and it is all delicious! This would be the only café...in the world where I walk out feeling great, not felling bloated or sick after eating a lot of fatty deep fried food! If you are vegan, vegetarian, gluten intolerant or just want a bit of change then don't go past Wild Yam. Wild Yam is known as the Yam to locals and is known for its great healthy vegan vegetarian food but also the best coffee in Mordialloc hands down! It has a warm friendly atmosphere and is a great meeting place for friends! When I visit I seem to always bump in the one of the regulars AFL great Rex Hunt. Wild Yam offers a great ranges of fresh salads, pies, wraps, curries, freshly made juices, ice cream amazing raw desserts! I would recommend getting a magic bowl' which is a mixed bowl made up of selections of your choice or you can leave it up to the talented enthusiastic girls behind the counter. They also sell health bars other packaged health foods. I would have no hesitation in recommending this to friends, do yourself a favour and give vegan a go! Wild Yam is located less than a 2 minute walk from Mordialloc train station. Recommended by bloggers Visit Victoria Outstanding 10/10"

"We have been frequent weekday visitors for 15 years. our order was the same every day. extra hot cappuccino, extra hot flat white, a common egg and speck toastie with sauce and Chile sauce. yum! in the good old days, michael, Sam,Jack and their...obligatory and welcoming waiting staff could not provide enough to provide great coffee, eat and service. they had a perfect formula. Unfortunately we say goodbye to an old friend and they say goodbye to about $4k per year of our financial support. obviously we had to be retrained as a customer on our rolls. here 's how the new front of the house rules were applied to our customer experience. 1. tell the customer the menu has changed. sourdough is out and the only possibility is to accept a Turkish roll instead. 2. the customers the Turkish roll price for our traditional order, which is an increase of 13% 3. to the kitchen staff (and others within the ohr shot), the customer cannot have mad enough with our order. when we paid the more expensive Turkish roll price on the day before, we talked to the kitchen staff and they were happy to commit to the customers by substituting sourdough. we are so mad at the experience and they are no longer getting the diligent! we are looking forward to the discovery of alternative local providers who appreciate customers and the financial support we like to offer in exchange for a positive experience."

"I ordered a Chicken Parma which the chicken was dry and over cooked a bit. My boys spag bog lacked meat sauce. The other boys fish and chips - the fish was ok. My wife's Caesar salad was average..to much lettuce and not enough dressing. Also I received my Parma about 10mins before the other 3 meals came out. Wouldn't go there again as they'll be better eateries in Southland."
