"Dropped in here Sunday lunchtime on spec after a stroll up and down the village. After a very, very enjoyable Jamaica jerk chicken ciabatta and a hot minted lamb ciabatta together with a side salad for one and crisps and coleslaw for the other we...were ready to go home and pass on our traditional Sunday roast that evening. It was also good to see all the staff being very strict on the COVID precautions, politely reminding customers what they could and couldn't do as well as giving the tables and chairs a thorough clean once customers left."

"My Mum and I had a lovely Afternoon Tea here. It was our first visit and we were really impressed. Great service, beautiful fresh food and the smell from all the waxes and bath bombs was gorgeous. Will definitely be back. Thank you again xx"

"This McDonalds is a shambles. I visit as it’s on my way to work so it’s convenient but in the last few weeks on separate visits I’ve experienced, no bacon as the oven wasn’t hot enough, no large hot drinks, no hot drinks at all, no coffee at all, I went back 4 days later and they still didn’t have any. I go 8n the morning so maybe they’re all a bit tired. I have to drive out of my way to other McDonalds where I’ve had no issues. This isn’t a recent problem it’s always been a standing joke that there’s always something they’ve not got. I’ve stopped using them now and will make my own."

"Filthy disgusting place. Should have taken photos but didn't. Only came in for a drink. Sauce stations ect all covered in sauce and the toilets have dirty floors, half of them locked and rubbish all over floors and in the sinks"

"Glossy trimmings (so called Artisan Clotted Cream and sliced fresh strawberries) cannot disguise or compensate for an awful main product (the scone). I don 't know how old they were, but they could have done creditable service as ice hockey pucks. Also, when the young server keenly asked how were your scones (expecting fulsome praise) she became flustered and didn 't know what to do with the answer 'freadful ' OK ... it 's dog friendly."

"The names Barman, Ben the Barman. What a night! It’s a great atmosphere and a young lad on the bar named Ben absolutely made it. Service was great and he even found time for a dance off with my mate Ste (which he won hands down). Will be back again.."

"Those were the instructions for if we wanted anything but I think the man's psychic; he knew we wanted to know where the loo was he knew we would want extra butter to go with the bread and (excellent) soup and he knew that we...could just do with some tap water to help cool us down. A lovely visit to a household parlour, greeted like some lost friends, perhaps on the chance that we might become new friends. A wonderful little café that exudes warmth and charm and although cheap the food looks and tastes great."
