"Very pleasant experience. Water street is a smaller and very personable venue. Dinner was delicious. I enjoyed one of the specials for the evening, linguine with clams. The other guests food looked good and they were pleased. Staff was attentive and pace controlled by kitchen. Length between meals was a tad long, but all the plates came out together was is appreciated, with high attention to detail on a semi busy evening. Wine selection was good for the venue and paired well with dinner. Yes, we would go back. Desserts were fantastic as well."

"This restaurant has always been important to my family, as my dad worked there for many years when he was young and cool and lived in Santa Cruz so I try to make a point to visit whenever I’m up North. The wait time was alright-they were very understaffed (down to one or two bussers) so things were a little chaotic. The food was amazing and the outdoor patio was really nice. I definitely recommend stopping by any chance you can!!"

"Table for 2, we arrived around 11:20am. We were told 30 min, we waited almost an hour. They have quarters if you need to add parking. Limit $2. Table for 2 is crowded, small. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Food was great, potatoes were a little burnt, but flavorful. Server's were often walking by offering coffee refill. I say, I'd come back."

"Pros: The atmosphere on the porch is really lovely. Quiet (because it 's on a walking-only street and cozily surrounded by plants, but open enough that you can watch people stroll by. The food was fine, nothing to write home about. My first cocktail, a lime margarita, was too tart (and I love sour things! but the special Chocolate Mint Mojito was a fizzy, chocolatey delight. I think the bartender even used real cocoa powder, based on the crunchy silt at the bottom (which I don 't think I was supposed to drink, but I used to make myself chocolate milk with sugar and cocoa powder and the grit was nostalgic . Cons: The food is merely fine. I had the shrimp and asparagus. It all tasted fresh, it was just on the bland side."

"I came here weeks ago and I sat my family and I at our usual spot (they never had hosts before; so I missed the new 'Please wait to be seated ' sign), and proceeded to sit there for 45 minutes, and was never even offered the initial drink. I would have gotten a waiter myself, but heard one of the managers tell one of their employees to come to our table 3 times, so we kept waiting. There was only one other table, which looked as though they were being served OK. I tried them once more, but got attitude by waitress and freezing cold food. Still give it 2 stars because they might be able to redeem themselves, they used to be very good."

"It is very dog friendly. Open air seating with umbrellas right on the marina. We had a 15 min wait for a table. Serves breakfast til 3pm. Must pay parking at kiosk 1.50 hr. I advise purchasing a 2 hr ticket."
