"We ordered the lunch special of the day- onion cream soup, beef stroganoff, and dessert. The soup was hot and was not bad. The beef stroganoff was served cold and had a bad, spoiled flavor. We’ve had stroganoff all over the world and never encountered...such horrible flavors! We rejected the stroganoff after taking only one bite and asked for the bill. The older lady who served us was apparently the owner. She was upset at us for not eating our meals. She was completely unprofessional. In my rudimentary German, I told her the food was cold and was not good and asked for the bill. That lead to a verbal tirade in German. I had to ask for the bill four times and had no idea what the older lady was yelling. In the end, she brought us the bill and charged us full price for two meals. We paid. As we walked out, the older lady who appeared to be the owner walked toward us with two desserts and yelled something unintelligible at us. We simply said “danke” in reply and walked out. This was the worst food we encountered in recent decades and the most unprofessional treatment we have received at any restaurant. The complete lack of respect for us and yelling at us when we asked to pay and leave merits the lowest a "poor rating If the older lady who yelled at us had any sense at all, she would have apologized for serving us cold, spoiled stroganoff instead of making a scene. We rejected the food because we were concerned about getting sick from spoiled food. Our health is not worth a Euro lunch in a mom and pop place. Overall cleanliness: average Bathroom cleanliness: average We could not connect to the wifi"

"In the middle of a busy street in central Vienna and an easy stop off for coffee and cakes from a lovely selection behind the glass counter. Pink theme for decor and waitresses. Delicious vanilla slice and chocolate cake with 2 coffees £13.59. Cosy and warm whilst 1 degree outside so very welcome!"

"Everything was perfect about this place! First of all it’s gorgeous! Beautiful brick interior with huge crystal chandeliers and floor to ceiling doors open into a courtyard. The staff was very friendly, the music was great. The food was SO delicious and unique! The chef/owner...came out and chatted with us after the meal. What a top notch guy! Next time I visit Vienna this will be where I eat!"

"We stayed at the grand hotel wein and had breakfast here every morning of our fifth night stay. many bread and juice options. champagne, too. nice warm menu choice, made to order to complete their breakfast meal. service was great. Menu elements always came fast."
