"Met my family here for breakfast after being on the Greyhound bus all night. The service was quick and efficient even though the restaurant was very busy due to a conference being held in the hotel. The food did take a little while but again it was very busy. Once the food arrived it was very tasty."

"There aren't a lot of places like Smile Diner left anymore. First, they do the classic 'Chinese and Canadian food' with a mix of classic diner fare and some standard Chinese dishes. The restaurant is family-owned and run and everything is quite good. Prices are reasonable, especially for this expensive city. The best thing about Smile is its lack of pretense. It's not a faux retro diner. It's not a hipster brunch scene kind of place. It's just a good restaurant serving good food at good prices. Great grilled cheese, by the way."

"This is a small, plain cafe that serves delicieux paninis! We stopped by at 9pm after a long day of travel. Was fun to watch passersby on the lively street through the open-air seating. My husband won't stop talking about the BELT panini... He devoured it!"

"After dinner at Meet On Main, we decided to walk the food off cuz everyone was so full (but really we were looking for a dessert place). Anyhoo someone was craving for donut so we stopped over at 49th Parallel Cafe. We ordered the apple bacon fritter, creme brulee, and some kind of berry jam filling donut. Despite the excessive powder sugar on the berry jam filling donut, I actually thought it's the best donut out of all 3 and I'm usually not a big fan of donuts with fillings. It went well with the cold brew coffee too."
