They are always happy to oblige when I tell them to just make me whatever they want to. "I love the decor at the Freight House. They have outdoor seating but we came on a Sunday on a soggy weather so we were not able to enjoy our meals outside. Coffee is self served and they offer different flavors. Freight House Coffee is strong and welove it that way. Just the flavorful toasted taste Without the burnt taste. If you are dining in, mugs are available. If youwant coffee to be served piping hot like we do, just asked them to zap it and they would gladly do it for you. Menu isprovided to you once seated and once you know what to order, you go upfront and placed them. The dishes will be served whenready. If you are familiar with 9W market, the set up is similar however Freight house is cozier. On a Sunday , aroundnoon, a guitarist started to perform inside. Being seated inside, the sound system didn 't work for our sensitive ears ... lol ,the music played was good though. If seated outside, would be perfect. Now onto to our breakfast orders: Putnam delicious. For next time, we will request the maple syrup on the side because it was too much for our liking. Mushroom toast delicious. I would request kale cooked well for next visit as I want my kale well cooked . French toast very good I woulddefinitely be back ! Staff are very accommodating, male and female!"

"Disappointing visit this past weekend. We came here because jarliings had a long wait and we didn’t feel like waiting, big mistake. First, Although the line wasn’t very long the wait would have been the same at the other place. Second, They are definitely under staffed and its sad to see the employees stressed out. Third, it was hotter inside the building then outside. My ice cream was melting inside the store it was so hot. Again back to the employees Seeing them stresses and sweating wasnt ideal. Lastly the ice cream was terrible. The texture was off for me, tasted like the ice cream set out and dried and then was re-frozen leaving a chewy texture. And the hot fudge sundae is made with syrup and not fudge. I ended up throwing my ice cream away. Overall my experience was terrible and i wont come back. For half the cost I could’ve went somewhere else. I’ve been to an oberweis before in the suburbs and it was great so im not sure why this store’s ice cream taste different. The only reason why im giving this place 3 stars instead of 1 is because despite the set backs the employees were kind and hard working. Definitely needs better management and organization to help with the quality issues."

"The food was food. But the delivery not good a Chinese man texting in Chinese, left the food at the lobby. How would I know about that? Too busy to get to the 2nd floor? Delivery was not for free and he got tips. Never will leave tips for the delivery. Thanks"
