"This place came recommended by family, and it did not disappoint. It is off the beaten path but well worth the effort. We split ox tails, curry chicken and Jerk Shrimp. The fried plantains and Caribbean rice were awesome too! So nice to have authentic Caribbean food in central Texas."

"I was expecting a sit down and get waited on environment. Here you order and then seat yourself. My husband and I both ordered the fried shrimp basket. The shrimp and hush puppies were both delicious. The shrimp were fresh and hand battered, homemade style, not frozen. We will return!"

"It was perfect this morning. from our waiter service to our quick refills. I said no when I asked about chips refills, but the waiter has brought something anyway! (who was a good call we ate) . the chicken flute ordered and everything was amazing. Come back soon!"

"The food was delicious! the restaurant was busy, but we didn't have to wait long to take place or get our food, and the server was good to check with us frequently. the horchata was perfect. we ordered the carne asada (very juicy) and che’s tacos (pork carnitas tacos.) both came with rice and black beans that were good enough to eat as meal on their own faust. the only thing we have long enough plastered to make a picture of it was roasted ice (mostly not my favorites, but the plastered cream was delicious.)"

"Arrival at 8:05. I sat at 8:15 and was happy when they weren't so busy. We sat there until 8:30 before I had to get up and ask for a waitress or waitress. The sweet lady in front asked a waiter who was on our side if he could help us that we have been here for some time without even being asked for our drinks order. The waiter reacted to them because they don't like it... the woman who asked him can stay very rude. She almost came in tears to our table and was super apologetic and said she would soon get someone. We then got a waitress who helped take our order at 8:40. It is now 9:59 and not yet received food. There are literally only 2 tables at this time! The worst service I've ever experienced. Drove of lampasas to eat in this place as the in seguin is my wife 's favorite where she grew up, so we decided to waco to get her favorite dish. She got her chickens Ranchero Tacos and she opened her and one of the tacos had soggy chips in it and tiny amount of chicken. The waitress was very embarrassing. The other Taco was very delicious as the Carnitas were also amazing! Very clean facilities and food was also quite good. The service was very terrible next to the hostess, and the waitress we finally got."

"We were just passing through Waco this morning and found this great little no frills restaurant. The food was great and the service was excellent! From our waitress, Miss Vanrssa to our greeter and cashier, Joshua. Both wete extremely friendly. We will definitely be back whenever we are in Waco."
