"Basho has hot pot now! Yay!! Went here specifically to try their hot pot, since there has been a lack in the area since Swish Shabu closed a few years back.We were initially seated in the regular section but when the waiter learned we wanted hot pot, we were then moved to the hot pot section that has the tables with the heaters.We ordered 2 broths chicken broth and goji berry broth, one order of the chicken combo which comes with a side of veggies and rice, and we also ordered a side of ramen. Technically the combo orders are for one person but it seemed like enough food for two. We could have ordered a second one or a few extra sides, but in the end it was ok.Both broths were on the mild side I thought the goji berry broth had a really interesting tangy sweet flavor. The condiments (garlic, hot sauce, soy sauce) helped add flavor, but we've had broths like tonkatsu in other shabu places which is really quite flavorful and would be good to add here as an option imo. The other broths included a spicy one and a Tom yum broth which would be worth trying at least once.The hot pots at times would start boiling over quite rapidly and we were worried they might boils over, but the servers came by to check and moderate the heat. Also we realized that adding ingredients into them calmed them down a bit so it was a bit of nervous action going on ha ha!Overall nice experience to try out once."

"Great place to get a lobster roll. The place was quiet and has a large window towards the street to people watch while you enjoy your roll. The star of the show was well seasoned with a butter sauce. The amount of lobster was perfect and the brioche bun was delicious. I would definitely visit again.Food: 5/5"

"This restaurant is usually excellent, however this time they slipped a little. The waiter would not provide a half order on our appetizer in the past they would. The bread came awhile after our drinks and appetizer. The preparation was always outstanding, this night we ordered medium on our bone in rib-eye and it was served very rare, since we had asked to share and slice we decided not to request a redo. We will go back but as I mentioned earlier it was not their usual excellence"

"This is one of our top favorite restaurants in the Boston area. Since we discovered it a couple of years ago we have been dining here wirth family and/or friends at least 10 times, and we 'll keep coming. Quality and service is consistently superb. The manager is very kind and personable, and our favorite waiter (Adam) is just great. Some highlight items we highly recommend: XO Toro tuna, A5 wagyu, softshell crab tempura, yellowtail and king salmon sashimi, and the unique Japanese uni/quail egg 'shots '."

"We wanted to sit down. Overall the atmosphere loved and it was decorated for the holiday. We have the Apple Cider-Mimosa, a Clam-Chowder and the Naked Lobster Roll to share. Everything was delicious. The only negative point was that the service was a little slow. It took a long time before our server came to our table and food was served quickly, but after check-in it took a bit."

"The food was delicious, okay for the price. we had a reservation for a regular table, but when we arrived there, we had to sit in the bar area where it was much louder at a high table because they had no regular tables open. the waitress has made our orders right, but she hasn't often checked enough in the table, even if we tried to blur them. at the entrance of the kitchen waiting ends after 45 minutes waiting to ask for our check."

"The Lobster Risotto was delicious!! Lots of large lobster claw chunks in both the risotto and the lobster roll. The waitress was not very good...forgetful, didn't know anything about the menu either."

The dim lighting adds to the ambiance, making it a suitable spot for a relaxed dining experience. While the food was okay, it didn't quite hit the mark of greatness. The menu had its highlights, but the overall culinary journey left me with mixed feelings. On a positive note, the servers were friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. While Antonio's may not become my regular haunt, I wouldn't be opposed to revisiting once in a while, perhaps for the inviting ambiance and the occasional craving for their fare."
