"My friends and I often frequent Green&Berry as we are mostly vegetarian and one of us is ceoliac and direly allergic to gluten. Today we went for brunch as we usually do on a Sunday and were met with an experience that was nothing short of appalling. First off it took almost 30mins before we were served our drinks, something that we could get over were they actually busy. When the food arrived we were excited. I ordered the huevos rancheros which are to die for. When we were served them however the first thing I tasted upon biting in was the fact the feta was sour and had obviously been left out/expired. When we asked about it we were told that we were weren't telling the truth and that there was nothing out of the ordinary with it. We decided to not eat as it was nothing shy of disgusting. Our friends' food arrived and Beth who is ceoliac was served a burger with a normal bun. We reminded the server than she had ordered GF and that she is extremely allergic and within 5mins it was reserved with a GF bun. Beth took two bites and within a minute had to go to the toilet to vomit. They had decided that instead of serving an uncontaminated burger they had just reserved the burger with the new bun and didn't say so. We complained and the server admitted it straight away. When trying to speak to the supervisor about these issues we were dismissed and little by way of apology was offered. Were it the case that someone had been served peanuts/shellfish and they had an allergy it would not be tolerated in the slightest. However my friend who will now be ill for at least the next day and a half was hardly offered a sorry. Upon attempting to escalate it to management again we were quicky dismissed. It's a crying shame really as this restaurant on a good day is one of our favourites in the city. Beyond disapointing. We will not be frequenting this establishment again"
