"We found this place completely by accident because it was pouring with rain and we just needed somewhere close to our car park to duck into and sort out paying for parking as well as grabbing a sandwich. It doesn’t look much from the outside...and is down some stairs. Once inside we discovered the menu to be varied and delicious and that they bake real bread on the premises without additives. Heaven! We had a couple of the best toasted sandwiches ever, one on sour dough and one on a ciabatta. This is where we will always go in future for lunch whilst out shopping in Cheltenham."

"We came here for business dinner for our American colleagues. Atmosphere of restaurant is very good. Sea trout and pork belly were very juicy and tasty. All members had enjoyed dinner very much. Definitely revisit here in next meeting period."

"I found this restaurant recommended on tripadvisor . We decided to choose The Daphne because the reviews were good and the Turkish menu was great for us as we are both vegetarian and there were plenty of options unlike many other restaurants where the vegetarian meals on offer are limited . We weren’t disappointed the food was delicious and the owner/chef was very helpful and attentive. We would highly recommend ! A lovely independent establishment."

"My mother and I had breakfast here this morning. It was nothing like those shown in the other reviewers' photos. We were very disappointed as the past reviews had given us high expectations. The portions were rather mean for a £10 breakfast. The hash brown...was from frozen, sausages weren't cooked properly, the slice of aubergine was tiny and tasteless and the harissa beans tasted more of sugar than anything else. The mushroom, spinach and tomato were cooked from fresh and tasty, but the breakfast overall was poor. At £3 for a black coffee, it was our most expensive coffee of the weekend. For two relatively small breakfasts and one coffee we paid £25. A 10% service charge was added (maybe this was shown on the menu, but we'd missed it if it was. We're both size 8 in clothes and really not greedy people, but after breakfast we went for coffee and cake to ease our disappointment. Maybe we were just unlucky, but I know we won't be going there again."
