"I was honestly looking so forward to trying out this new spot. Hostess was unable to find our reservation even though I showed her the confirmation. Design of color scheme of restaurant was lovely. After ordering, found out that my appetizer was not available (limited appetizer menu so that was disappointing). Ordered the truffle fries (6/10) in lieu of the Jamin croquettes not being available. The pesto chicken pasta was also disappointing (6/10). My pasta was a bit salty and gummy. Chicken had a nice flavor though. Portion size of chicken to pasta was not sufficient. Tiramisu at Publix tasted better than the one on this menu. My cocktail was amazing though. Our server was not the best either. Example, we had leftovers and she just dropped the containers and walked off. The couple next to us, that server took their food and came back with it packed in containers. So inconsistency there with level of service. This place has a lot of potential with some minor tweaks (training of staff and better quality of food served).. maybe it was an off night?"

"This is a standard office building-based cafe, much like many others in corporate Tampa buildings around Westshore/Boy Scout. Food is pretty inexpensive, and it's a convenient choice for busy office workers. Service is fast but a bit surly. I came here once, and I got the falafel wrap. It was pretty awful. They substituted the feta cheese (as written on the board menu with cheddar, and used thousand island instead of Greek dressing. Never again. However, the unique thing about this particular location is that Suzie's also makes Taiwanese food on Fridays. You need to order by Tuesday midday for pick up on Friday (don't live in south/west Tampa? They also deliver around central FL on Friday/Saturday . They have some set menu items, but their Facebook page has weekly specials too. (Mind you, the Facebook page is written in Chinese, but you can get it translated by Facebook with sometimes hilarious results. Order by phone or online, and they confirm the pick up time by text. You pay in cash or by Zelle when you pick up. I tried the railcar lunch. It was a pork chop, rice, fried egg, veggies and pickled veggies. It was quite substantial and only $9.90. The pork chop was nicely seasoned. The ability to get decent Taiwanese food in this part of Tampa (albeit only once per week is awesome for anyone not wanting to roadtrip up to north Tampa for Mei's."
